I am excited to share that Gartner Inc. recently named Cazena in its Cool Vendors in DBMS report for 2016! We’re proud to be included in the research.
Each year, Gartner identifies "Cool Vendors" in key technology areas and publishes a series of research reports highlighting pioneering vendors and their products and services. This year, analysts named Cazena’s Big Data as a Service, along with four other vendors, in the report. The report succinctly summarizes the trend and it’s potential impact on the market:
“Enter the concept of "big data as a service," where vendors are combining components of analytic platforms in the cloud with multiple processing engines, hybrid on-premises integration, and secure data movement. The use of such services can speed up the adoption of analytics in the cloud, address skills shortages within the enterprise, and make it easier to transition from, and integrate with, existing on-premises investments.”

Read about why Gartner selected Cazena here in the report, offered compliments of Cazena.
This is a huge milestone for Cazena. From the beginning, this team has been determined to rethink the status quo and it’s been amazing to see our vision become a reality. Throughout, our mission has remained the same: “To radically simplify data processing in the cloud for enterprises, for faster business outcomes.”
Our network of enterprise leaders helped us understand and address the biggest cloud challenges for data processing. That’s why Cazena Big Data as a Service includes multiple workload engines (MPP SQL and Hadoop), built-in data movers and secure integration with existing enterprise tools and infrastructure – all features that help companies improve their time to analytics and get value from their data faster. The response has been incredible and inspiring.
We look forward to continuing our mission and invite you to join us on this journey.
